ALLEN; George
George was native born and on 1 November 1880, he was found guilty at Green Ponds (Kempton) of being Idle & Disorderly. As a result he was sentenced to 3 Months gaol at Hobart. He arrived there on 3 November and was recorded as being 37 years of age and his warrant number was 13637. George was a labourer, Protestant with three or more prior convictions and he could read and write. He died three days later on 6 November at 10:55 a.m. (Cause unknown.)
