BEDDOES; Robert

Beddoes was 60 years of age when he was charged with being Idle & Disorderly on 14 April 1887 and on being found guilty was sentenced to 3 Months gaol.  His warrant number was 16729.  He was a labourer by trade, a Protestant with three or more prior convictions and was literate.  Beddoes had arrived in VDL on 14 January 1843 aboard the Earl Grey from Plymouth as a free settler.  He died at CSG on 24 June 1887.  (Cause unknown.)
