KILLEEN; Peter

Killeen, a former Port Arthur inmate, was 83 years of age when he was charged with Uttering Counterfeit Coin and upon being on sentenced at HSC on 6 November 1888 received 10 Months at CSG.  His warrant number was 17350.  Peter had arrived in VDL from NSW on board the Marion Watson on 8 March 1842 as a free convict.  He is shown as being a labourer, Catholic with three or more prior convictions and was illiterate.  Killeen died at CSG on the 27 June 1889.  (Cause unknown.)
